Want to change your life?
It's that simple, a choice. The Bible tells us that all have sinned (Romans 3:23), and the only way to receive forgiveness for sin (the things we do that don't please God) is through the blood of Jesus - by confessing and accepting Him into your heart. In Matthew 10:32 Jesus tells us if we confess Him before men, He will confess us before God. Choose to confess Him today! You see Jesus is God’s Son and He came from Heaven to earth to save us by dying on the cross - His shed blood forgives our sin. He did not stay dead though - after 3 days He arose again and ascended up to Heaven. He will come back for us, those, that have accepted Him as our Lord and Savior. It's simple - here is a sample of a prayer you can pray:
Dear God, I invite Your Son, Jesus, to come into my heart. I surrender my life to Him. I believe I am a sinner (Romans 3:23), that Jesus is Your only begotten Son (John 3:16) and that according to Your word, ".....whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life" (John 3:16). Jesus, I believe you came to earth and lived as a man (John 1:1 & 14, John 3:17), You were crucified and shed Your blood for the forgiveness of my sins (I John 1:7-9) and on the third day You arose (Mark 8:31, I Corinthians 15:3-4). Through You, Jesus, is eternal life (Romans 6:23, I John 5:13). From this moment forward I make a choice to serve You and live for You. I put off the former things in my life and seek Your ways. God, I want Your will for my life. I profess that Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior. If you prayed that prayer and meant it - YOU are NOW a Christian!!
